Your Natural Learner Pre-K through 4th Grade Curriculums are comprehensive, hands-on, student-directed, and align with all national curriculum standards (without ever having to do a single worksheet!).

Our elementary curriculum is expertly written by our very own Head of School here at Bridge Academy, Leah McDermott, M.Ed. This decade-long project is a culmination of extensive research and development into everything we know to be true about childhood growth, brain development, how learning takes place, how the unique individual learns, and what happens when we process new information.

Curriculum

Bridge Academy gives parents and students complete control and choice over the curriculum and resources they desire to use for learning. However, we recognize that having additional resources can be supportive as you step into this new way of living and learning together as a family. Therefore, we've partnered with Your Natural Learner to provide our families with access to the complete catalog of curriculum resources for K-8, which you have access to in your Parent Portal upon enrollment. Our high schoolers create customized learning journeys using our requirements and planning templates, all based on their unique needs, interests, and plans for the future. Middle Grades

5th-8th grade

Your Natural Learner Middle Grades Curriculum is an exercise in focusing on HOW to learn, not on someone telling you WHAT to learn, and walks parents and students through a research-driven journey through the experience of learning.

Like the elementary grades, our middle grades curriculum is also designed by our Head of School here at Bridge Academy, Leah McDermott, M.Ed. This is meant to scaffold you and your middle schoolers on a self-reflective learning journey, helping them find the things they truly love learning more about in preparation for a fully personalized high school learning journey.

High School

9th-12th grade

Our high schoolers at Bridge Academy are a self-directed learning community, each working with their parents to design a customized learning journey, filled with a variety of resources and experiences, to meet our requirements for graduation while on their personal journey to the next phase of life - adulthood!
